Priyanka Vs Aishwarya;You decide Best Actor

Priyanka Chopra Won the best actor for Fashion at the IIFA Awards but the comment she received there from a director made her embarrassed. At the recently held IIFA Awards in Macau, director Ashutosh Gowarikar shot off his mouth (yet again!) on stage and left actress Priyanka Chopra embarrassed. What happens when the director you are working with in latest film doesn't think high of your acting abilities and even says it publicly? Something like this happened to Priyanka Chopra who won the best actress award for her performance in 'Fashion'
at IIFA. The actress was almost shocked by director Ashtuosh Gowarikar's impetuous disposition on stage on the awards night. As reported by a tabloid, when Ashutosh went ahead to collect the Best Director trophy for his film Jodhaa Akbar, he said, “Priyanka I love you, but I don't know how you got the award for Best Actress when Aishwarya was also nominated in the same category for Jodhaa Akbar.”

After uttering these lines, the director probably realized his faux pas and tried to make up by adding: “May be it is because you are very hard-working and she is a natural.” Ashtuosh is directing Priyanka in his next 'What's Your Raashi'. And rawing a comparison between the two actresses, that too on a stage, wasn't a welcoming or wise act. Poor Priyanka was left with no option but to keep her cool. But, as reports say, after the ridiculous incident, Priyanka gave a miss to the after-event party at Abhishek- Aishwarya suite, to avoid Ashutosh.
Not only this, Gowarikar even expressed his displeasure over a spoof on 'Jodhaa Akbar' staged by the hosts Ritesh Deshmukh and Boman Irani.
